Firefighters knocked down a detached garage fire in Boyle Heights Sunday, authorities said.
Firefighters dispatched at 1:12 p.m. Sunday to 3416 E. Fifth St. had the fire out at 1:37 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
“Multiple patients” were medically assessed at the scene, but no patients were hospitalized, the LAFD’s Jamie Stewart said.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
