A fire at a commercial structure in the Westlake area of Los Angeles was knocked down Sunday, with no injuries reported.
The fire was reported at 1:45 p.m. Sunday at 2218 W. Eighth St, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. City animal control officers were called to the scene to secure three dogs and one parrot, the department added.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
