Firefighters took precautions Monday while battling a garage fire at a Reseda home because ammunition was believed to be stored inside.
The fire was reported at 10:48 a.m. in the attached garage of a one-story home in the 8000 block of North Chastain Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Crews extinguished the blaze in about 12 minutes. No injuries were reported.
It was not immediately clear whether any ammunition was found inside the garage.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
