A Silver Alert was activated Tuesday for a missing 74-year-old man who was last seen in Covina.
Vahik Baghoomian was last seen about 7 a.m. Tuesday near West Covina Boulevard and North Azusa Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol, which issued the alert on behalf of the Covina Police Department.
Baghoomian was described as 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 180 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, black shorts, brown boots and white socks, and carrying a blue bag.
Anyone with information about Baghoomian’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired people.
