One person was hospitalized Tuesday after being injured in a shooting in Lancaster.
Deputies responded at approximately 5:40 p.m. Tuesday to the 1000 block of East Avenue K, near Challenger Way, to reports of shots fired, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Details about the shooting incident remain limited.
Sheriff’s officials said that initial reports indicated that a family was shot, and was being privately taken to a hospital in unknown condition.
Deputies were at the hospital as of 9:35 p.m. to conduct interviews connected to the shooting, sheriff’s officials said.
There was no information about a possible suspect or a description.
