A complaint about illegal dumping on a vacant property in Palmdale led to the city’s largest drug bust in recent history, Mayor Eric Ohlsen said Thursday.
In addition to over 800 pounds of methamphetamine found by Code Enforcement personnel, investigators recovered materials and photographs, indicating the numerous stages of narcotics production, Ohlsen said
No arrests were made.
The investigation has been transferred to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Ohlsen said.
