A man was killed and another man was injured during a shooting in North Shore Sunday, authorities said.
Deputies responded to the 98000 block of Surfside Avenue shortly after midnight after a report of an assault with a deadly weapon, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. They found two men suffering from apparent gunshot wounds and provided medical aid until paramedics arrived.
A 43-year-old man was taken to a hospital, where he had stable vital signs. The other victim, a 44-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identities of the men were not immediately available.
