Firefighters Sunday were battling a vegetation fire that was measured at five acres in “light, flashy fuels with a moderate rate of spread,” according to Cal Fire.
The blaze was reported around 5: 20 p.m. Sunday in the area of Sage Road and Alexander Drive in the unincorporated Aguanga area, east of Lake Skinner , according to the department.
Multiple air and ground resources were responding, the department stated.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
