As many as three inmates at the Men’s Central Jail were assessed for possible overdoses Saturday, officials said.
The emergency was reported at 2:50 p.m. Saturday at the facility at 441 Bauchet St., Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Jennifer Middleton told City News Service.
It was yet to be confirmed that the inmates had actually suffered drug overdoses, Middleton said. Their conditions were not immediately available.
