A body was discovered Sunday morning floating in the California Aqueduct in Palmdale, authorities said.
The California Highway Patrol and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Palmdale station were notified of the discovery at 7:51 a.m. Sunday, according to the CHP.
The discovery was made in the area of 30th Street West and West Avenue P-8.
The gender of the decedent was not immediately known, and no further information was provided.
