A person was struck and killed by a Metro bus Sunday in the downtown area, possibly during a fight.
The fatality was reported at 10:23 p.m. Sunday at 133 E. Sixth St., at Los Angeles Street, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Jennifer Middleton.
She did not know the age or gender of the deceased.
A news videographer who went to the scene spoke to witnesses who claimed the victim was involved in a fight when he fell backward and was run over by the bus.
