One of two men killed in a drive-by shooting in the Hyde Park area was identified by the county medical examiner’s office Monday.
A third man was wounded in the shooting, which occurred at 7:45 p.m. Friday at 59th Street and Crenshaw Boulevard, according to a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman.
A 49-year-old man, later identified as Clayton Manning of Tustin, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Paramedics took a 60-year-old man to a hospital, where he was also pronounced dead. His name was withheld pending family notifications.
The wounded survivor, said to be 54 years old, was hospitalized with stable vital signs, police said.
Two or three male suspects approached the men in a vehicle and fired the shots, then fled the scene, the LAPD spokesman said.
