Four people were injured in a three-vehicle collision in Boyle Heights Tuesday, including a 50-year-old man who suffered a head injury and a 50-year-old woman who suffered a broken leg.
The collision was reported at 3:18 p.m. at Lorena Street and Cesar Chavez Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Three people were taken to a hospital while the fourth was treated at the scene and released, police said.
A white SUV involved in the crash came to rest on the sidewalk in front of a restaurant, according to a report from the scene.
KTLA5 reported that one patient was in grave condition.
