A 13-year-old boy diagnosed with severe autism was located Tuesday after he vanished from Dockweiler State Beach in Playa del Rey.
Ian Williams had last been seen at around 6:20 p.m. Sunday near Tower 42, near the 6900 block of Pacific Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The boy was the subject of an Ebony Alert. Such advisories are used to help locate missing Black children, teenagers and young adults ages 12 to 25 who have disappeared under unexplained or suspicious circumstances, or who are at risk, developmentally disabled, cognitively impaired or abducted.
Police announced Tuesday morning that Ian had been found, but released no other details.
