A 13-year-old girl who ran away weeks ago after last being seen in Compton was being sought by sheriff’s investigators Tuesday.
Mia Brianna Avina was last seen June 19 when she was picked up from her residence by an unknown driver in a black vehicle, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Mia is Hispanic, 5-feet-1 inch tall, weighs 130 pounds and has red hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans and black shoes when last seen.
The teenager also has piercings on her upper left cheek and on her bottom lip.
Anyone with information that could reunite her with her worried family was urged to contact the sheriff’s Compton station at 310-605-3529.
