A man fell to his death from an overpass in Fullerton onto the Orange (57) Freeway at Yorba Linda Boulevard Friday.
The man fell about 11 a.m. Friday from an overpass but landed on the shoulder and was not struck by a vehicle, according to California Highway Officer Fernando Perez.
Fullerton police will investigate whether the man jumped or fell.
Nearly all lanes of the southbound Orange Freeway were closed while the investigation was conducted, leading to an extensive traffic backup.
