A man was killed when he was run over by a vehicle while lying on a Reseda street, authorities said Friday.
The death occurred at 2:48 a.m. Thursday at Lindley Avenue and Vanowen Street, according to a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman.
A vehicle was northbound on Lindley when it ran over the man, the spokesman said.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, the officer said. His name was not released pending notification of kin.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene, the spokesman said.
