A Silver Alert was activated Monday after an at-risk 74-year-old man was reported missing from Baldwin Park.
Francisco Martinez was last seen at about 1 p.m. Friday near Ballentine Place and Baldwin Park Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Baldwin Park Police Department.
Martinez was described as a 5-foot-9-inch-tall man weighing 185 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen shirtless and wearing black shorts.
Authorities believed Martinez to be traveling in a white 2007 Nissan Versa with California license plate 6VYV415.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts was urged to call 911.
The CHP activates a Silver Alert when an elderly or developmentally or cognitively impaired person has gone missing and is determined to be at risk to help locate them more quickly.
