A search was underway Wednesday for a 72-year-old man with memory loss who told his family he was heading to the Torrance area.
That was Sunday and the license plate of Richard Paul Del Real’s SUV was scanned in Carson at 10:23 p.m. Tuesday.
Del Real is Hispanic, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 140 pounds, with gray hair and green eyes, wearing a dark blue jacket, blue jeans, white Reebok shoes and a knee brace.
His SUV is a white, 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe, California license number 7CTU839.
Anyone who sees Del Real ,or knows where he might be, was urged to call the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500 or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
