Los Angeles Fire Department crews made quick work of a blaze that broke out Thursday at a house in the Florence section of South Los Angeles.
The fire was reported about 6:40 a.m. at 247 E. 73rd St., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Smoke was visible coming from the attic when the first firefighters arrived and crews on the roof and inside the one-story, single family put the fire out in 14 minutes with no injuries reported.
