Seven people were arrested on suspicion of petty theft and various other charges following a retail theft operation in Eastvale, authorities announced Friday.

Deputies with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Jurupa Valley station, in coordination with the department’s Eastvale Special Enforcement Team and loss prevention personnel, conducted the operation Thursday in the 12400 block of Limonite Avenue to “proactively address retail theft and ensure the safety and well-being of both businesses and shoppers in the area,” according to sheriff’s Sgt. Rafael Lopez.

Numerous individuals were allegedly seen stealing merchandise during the sting.

The following people were arrested without incident and booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside:

— Anderson Torres-Chavarria, 24, of Canoga Park arrested on suspicion of petty theft;

— Dennis Joao Sangoquisa-Calapucha, 27, of Los Angeles was arrested on suspicion of petty theft ;

— Kent Ma, 60, of Pasadena was arrested on suspicion of petty theft;

— Adriana Santa Maria, 58, of Norco was arrested on suspicion of petty theft;

— Dulce Maria Melendez-Garcia, 34, of Riverside was arrested on suspicion of petty theft and possession of a controlled substance;

— Freddy Perez-Valdez, 37, of Norco was arrested on suspicion of petty, theft, possession of a controlled substance and conspiracy, and

— Briana Kyshaun Lloyd, 41, of North Las Vegas was arrested on suspicion of vandalism, trespassing and attempted fraud.
