A man was killed and six people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Mount Baldy Road, authorities said Saturday.
The crash was reported just before 9 p.m. Friday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Medical Examiner’s office later identified the fatal victim as 20-year-old Cole Renko. Renko’s city of residence was not provided.
The six injured people were taken by ambulance to a hospital, the CHP stated. Neither the extent of their injuries nor the cause of the crash was immediately known.
The CHP issued a Sigalert about 10 p.m. for the area and it was canceled at 1:53 a.m. Saturday.
