A Silver Alert was activated Monday for a 71-year-old man who was reported missing after being last seen in West Hollywood.

Warren McKay was last spotted at around 8 a.m. Monday near North Poinsettia Place and Santa Monica Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

McKay was described as a 5-foot-5-inch-tall man weighing 175 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.

He was last seen wearing a black shirt with numbers on the front, blue-and-white plaid pajama pants, and black shoes.

Anyone with information regarding McKay’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.

The CHP activates a Silver Alert when an elderly or developmentally or cognitively impaired person has gone missing and is determined to be at risk to help locate them more quickly.
