FBI agents served a federal search warrant at a Beverly Hills mansion Tuesday, but no details were released about the nature of the investigation, or whether it was tied to multiple searches carried out the same day in San Bernardino County.
The warrant was served Tuesday afternoon at a sprawling estate in the 600 block of North Canon Drive. Fox11 video from the scene showed agents walking through the expansive property.
FBI Los Angeles spokeswoman Laura Eimiller confirmed the agency served a federal search warrant at the home, but said the warrant was sealed by the court so no details could be released.
According to online property records, the home last sold in 2023 for nearly $25 million.
It was unclear if the search of the Beverly Hills property was connected to a series of warrants served by federal agents Tuesday in San Bernardino County. Various media reports indicated the searches targeted businesses tied to San Bernardino County Supervisor Curt Hagman.
The Southern California News Group reported searches were also conducted at locations connected to Ontario City Councilman Alan Wapner and a home affiliated with attorney Frank Lizarraga, former general counsel for the Southern California Association of Governments. Warrants were also served at an office and home in West Covina tied to James Su, founder of EDI Media, a Chinese-language media company, SCNG reported.
