Authorities Tuesday released the name of a 62-year-old motorcycle rider who was killed in Palmdale when he lost control, was ejected from his bike and crashed into a metal pole.
The fatal crash occurred at about 9:20 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Avenue S and Westland Drive, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Palmdale station.
The rider, identified as Ricardo Madrigal, was pronounced dead at the scene after suffering blunt traumatic injuries, according to the Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office, which ruled the death to be accidental.

The locations of the two vertical support structures for the signs could not have been installed to any current regulation. Dangerous for drivers going west and south.
