A pedestrian was killed when he was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene in Inglewood, authorities said Tuesday.
The crash occurred at about 10:30 p.m. Monday just west of the intersection of South Cedar Avenue and West Arbor Vitae Street, Inglewood Police Department Sgt. A. Ruiz told City News Service.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, Ruiz said. His name was not released pending notification of relatives.
A description of the vehicle was not immediately available as the initial investigation was still underway.
