A man evicted from a Lancaster motel allegedly stabbed a security guard who tried to remove him Tuesday.
The stabbing took place at about 2:10 a.m. Tuesday at the Town House Motel in the 44100 block of Sierra Highway, according to Sgt. D. Day of the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station.
The man was refusing to leave after he was evicted and stabbed the security guard once in the abdomen before fleeing the scene on a bicycle, Day said.
The wound was not life-threatening, she said. The security guard was taken to a hospital by ambulance.
