Two lanes of the busy Pomona (60) Freeway in Pomona were closed Wednesday morning after two big rigs collided.
The crash was reported at 2:04 a.m. on the eastbound Pomona Freeway just west of Phillips Ranch Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The driver of one big rig was reported by a witness as bleeding .
The CHP issued a Sigalert at 2:39 a.m. shutting down lanes 3 and 4 while the big rigs were cleared from the scene.
Video from the scene showed the front of one of the trucks mangled and torn from its chassis.
The scene was cleared and all lanes were reopened by 7 a.m., according to the CHP.
