An at-risk 70-year-old woman who suffers from memory loss and other medical conditions requiring medication was reported missing Thursday after being last seen in unincorporated West Valinda.
Maria Velasquez was last seen at approximately 8 a.m. Thursday in the 900 block of Van Wig Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Velasquez was described as a 5-foot-1-inch Hispanic woman weighing 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a purple shirt, black-and-blue shorts and white shoes.
Sheriff’s officials said there were concerns for Velasquez’s well-being.
