A 37-year-old woman was wounded Thursday while riding inside a vehicle in Watts.
The shooting occurred at 12:10 a.m. Thursday at 104th Place and Kimberly Street, a Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman told City News Service.
The victim was in the front passenger seat when a suspect fired a shot and fled, the spokeswoman said.
It was not clear whether the shot was fired from another vehicle, she said.
The woman was driven to a hospital in a private vehicle where she had stable vital signs, the spokeswoman said.
