The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Friday circulated a photo of an at-risk 85-year-old woman who went missing in Lomita, authorities said.
Dorothy Rae Carter was last seen at approximately 3:30 p.m. Thursday near the 2200 block of Pacific Coast Highway, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Carter was described as a 5-foot, 9-inch tall Black woman weighing 130 pounds with gray hair, or a black wig, and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white floral shirt, dark pants and black and white sneakers.
She may be driving a silver 2012 Chevrolet Cruz, with California license plate numbers 6WDE454. She may be headed to Artesia, to the 11800 block of Artesia Boulevard.
