A brush fire in the high desert burned at least 20 acres Tuesday and was threatening structures in the Littlerock area southeast of Palmdale.
The Haskett Fire was reported at 11:54 a.m. Tuesday in the area of Cheseboro and Mt. Emma roads, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, which dispatched a full brush response and water-dropping helicopters to battle the blaze.
Crews arrived on the scene at 12:07 p.m. The fire was burning in an easterly direction amid medium to heave brush, an LACoFD official told City News Service.
No injuries were immediately reported.
