A 53-year-old man on a scooter was killed in a hit-and-run crash in San Pedro Thursday.
The victim was struck about 5:30 a.m. Thursday at or near the intersection of San Pedro Street and Colden Avenue, according to an officer at the Los Angeles Police Department’s South Traffic Division.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner later identified the man as Antonio Galvan-Solorio.
A description of the vehicle that struck the rider was not available.
Anyone who may have witnessed the fatal crash was urged to call investigators at 323-421-2577.
