A Silver Alert was activated Friday for a missing 82-year-old man who was last seen in the Glassell Park area.
Paul Cepero was last seen around 7 a.m. Thursday near Hazelwood and Lincoln avenues, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Cepero was described as a 5-foot-11-inch-tall man weighing 125 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue hat, white shirt, navy blue shorts, and brown shoes.
Anyone with information regarding Cepero’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.
The CHP activates a Silver Alert when an elderly or developmentally or cognitively impaired person goes missing and is determined to be at-risk to help them be recovered more quickly.
