A vehicle was set on fire Saturday during a large street takeover in the Gramercy Park community of South Los Angeles, authorities said.
Officers were dispatched at 4:30 a.m. Saturday to a report of a street takeover in the area of Western Avenue and Century Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Arriving officers found a large gathering, fireworks and a vehicle on fire in the middle of the road, Officer Rosario Cervantes of the LAPD’s Media Relations Division told City News Service.
No arrests were made and no injuries were reported, Cervantes said.
