A man reportedly suffered a head wound in a shootout with another man outside a downtown party.
The shooting was reported at 11:06 p.m. Sunday at East Olympic Boulevard and Santee Street, according to a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman.
The suspect fired from the north side of Olympic Boulevard and the victim was on the south side of the street, the spokesman said. The suspect fled on foot.
The victim was taken to a hospital by ambulance and had stable vital signs, he said.
A news videographer at the scene said the two men were shooting at each other and that it took place during a large party.
