One person was killed Monday in a crash on the Long Beach (710) Freeway in East Los Angeles.
The crash was reported at 3:21 a.m. on the southbound Long Beach Freeway just north of Floral Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.
“At least one vehicle was involved and one person was pronounced dead at the scene,” Officer Elizabeth Kravig told City News Service.
ABC7 reported a vehicle and a bicycle collided.
The CHP issued a SigAlert at 3:52 a.m. shutting down southbound lane Nos. 2 and 3 south of the San Bernardino (10) Freeway while officers investigated the crash. Lane 2 was re-opened at about 5:40 a.m.
