Firefighters were wrapping up work Saturday on a two-acre fire in the Sepulveda Basin.
The fire was reported a 1:37 p.m. Saturday in the basin around Woodley Avenue and Burbank Boulevard, Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Jennifer Middleton told City News Service.
The fire was in light-to-medium grass and had a slow rate of spread, Middleton said.
Firefighters quickly scraped lines of cleared vegetation around the fire to contain it.
No injuries were reported.
