A man was critically wounded in a shooting in central Long Beach, authorities said Saturday.
The shooting occurred at about 7:30 p.m. Friday near 12th Street and Lewis Avenue, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
Paramedics rushed the victim to a hospital, where he was listed in critical condition with a gunshot wound to the upper body.
No motive or suspect information was immediately available.
