The California Highway Patrol activated a Silver Alert Saturday to help the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office locate an 87-year-old woman who went missing from Desert Hot Springs.
Marie Brumble was last seen at 3:28 p.m. Saturday at Dillon and Corkill roads, the CHP stated.
Brumble was believed to be on foot.
She is white, 5 feet, 2 inches tall, 120 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes, last seen wearing a purple dress and straw hat and carrying a purse with a white strap.
Anyone who sees Brumble, or knows where she is, was urged to call 911.
A Silver Alert is activated when an elderly or developmentally or cognitively impaired person is missing and determined to be at risk to provide immediate information to the public to help locate them quickly.
