A barricade involving a man holed up in a Compton home ended Monday after prompting a response from a sheriff’s SWAT-style team.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Special Enforcement Bureau was deployed to assist deputies from the Compton Station, who were called to a home in the 100 block of Magnolia Court about 4 a.m. Monday.
A crisis negotiation team was also sent to the location.
The barricade ended about 7:30 a.m., according to the watch commander at the sheriff’s Compton Station, but there was no immediate word on the man’s condition or how the situation was resolved.
