A man holed up in a Compton home Monday, drawing a sheriff’s Special Enforcement Bureau response.
The SWAT-style team was deployed to assist deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Compton Station, which had been called to a home in the 100 block of Magnolia Court about 4 a.m. Monday.
A crisis negotiation team was also sent to the location.
The situation remained static three hours after the confrontation began, according to the sheriff’s department.
