A man was hospitalized Monday morning after he was shot in the leg in North Hollywood.
The shooting occurred at about 12:30 a.m. Monday at 4940 Vineland Avenue, south of Morrison Street, according to a Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman.
The victim heard gunshots and realized he was hit, she said. He could not give officers a suspect description.
The victim was hospitalized with stable vital signs, she said.
Video from the scene showed the victim hobbling to an awaiting gurney and being wheeled into a waiting ambulance.
