Sheriff’s detectives asked the public for help Monday to locate a 66-year-old at-risk woman with a mental health disorder who was last seen in Carson.

Carmen Johnson was last seen at 2:48 p.m. Sunday on the 800 block of Helmick Street, at Wadley Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Johnson’s mental health disorder requires medication, so her family is concerned for her wellbeing, sheriff’s officials said.

Johnson is Black, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, wearing a gray long-sleeve shirt and tan pants.

Anyone who has seen Johnson, or knows her whereabouts, was asked to call the sheriff’s Missing Persons Detail at 323-890-5500 or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS (8477).
