An 81-year-old man who had been last seen in Beverly Grove, prompting the issuance of a Silver Alert, was found, authorities said Tuesday.
Frank McAllister had been last seen around 10 a.m. Monday in the area of Hayworth Avenue and Beverly Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department.
He has since been located, but no details were provided about when or where he was found.
The CHP activates a Silver Alert when an elderly or developmentally or cognitively impaired person goes missing and is determined to be at-risk to help them be recovered more quickly.
