A person was shot Wednesday in South Los Angeles and a suspect remained at large.
Officers responded around 4:05 p.m. to the area of South Central Avenue and East 103rd Street, where a person was shot in the upper body, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics arrived at the location and took the person to a hospital in unknown condition.
Details about what led up to the shooting remained under investigation.
There was no description of a possible suspect.
