Felony charges may be filed Wednesday against a 62-year-old man suspected of sexually assaulting patients at an Eastvale nursing home.

June Richard Lee, also known as “Richard Bautista,” of East Hemet was arrested Friday and booked into the Smith Correctional Facility on suspicion of lewd acts on a dependent adult, sexual battery and forced oral copulation. Bail information wasn’t available.

Lee’s case was under review Tuesday by the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office.

According to sheriff’s investigators, deputies at the Jurupa Valley station were alerted in June 2025 regarding the possible sexual abuse of a patient at a private care facility in the 6000 block of La Mesa Street, near Nectarine Avenue.

The ensuing investigation continued to March of this year, when detectives from the Special Victims Unit identified a second alleged victim, Sgt. Jim Peters said.

Details behind the alleged assaults were not disclosed, nor were the victims’ identities. Lee’s job at the care home also wasn’t specified.

Peters said after gathering sufficient evidence, detectives obtained and served a search warrant at the suspect’s residence on Margoni Way in East Hemet, where he was taken into custody without incident Friday evening.

He has no documented prior felony convictions in Riverside County.
