Detectives were investigating a shooting in Long Beach Saturday, though no injuries were reported.
Officers were dispatched at about 10:40 p.m. Friday to a “shots” call in the 1000 block of Long Beach Boulevard, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
“Upon arrival officers located evidence that a shooting had occurred,” according to a police statement. “The suspect fled the scene before officer arrival. No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.”
