A man was killed Saturday when he crashed an SUV into a center median tree in Arcadia.
The crash occurred about 1:45 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of North Baldwin Avenue, at Stanford Drive, according to Arcadia Police Department Lt. T. Juarez.
“The sole occupant, a 36-year-old male driver, was found unresponsive,” Juarez said. “Arcadia Fire Department personnel attempted lifesaving measures, however, the driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.”
The driver’s name was withheld pending notification of family.
The area was closed to traffic for about eight hours while officers investigated the crash, the lieutenant said.
