A Silver Alert was activated Sunday for a 63-year-old man last seen in Reseda, authorities said.

Sunkhirous Yadegar was last seen about 1:10 p.m. Saturday in the area of Friar Street and Sylvia Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department.

Yadegar, who was believed to be on foot, was described as a 6-foot, 200-pound bald White male with brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white baseball cap, a light-blue shirt, beige pants and black shoes.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts was urged to call 911.

The CHP activates a Silver Alert when an elderly or developmentally or cognitively impaired person goes missing and is determined to be at-risk to help them be recovered more quickly.
